Steve Fagan
Founder & CEO
Steve is the founder and CEO of Media Republic.
With over 30 years of experience in the media industry, Steve has established himself as a thought leader in the field and has been recognised for his innovative approach to marketing and brand building.
Under his leadership, Media Republic has become one of the fastest growing agencies in the Australian market, delivering exceptional results for its clients.
Steve is a Board Director of the IMAA (Independent Media Agencies of Australia).
Kelly McIlwraith
Chief Strategy Officer
Kelly is a seasoned media professional with a wealth of experience spanning over 25 years in both media agencies and media owners, both locally and in the UK. With a diverse background, she has honed her expertise as a neuro research specialist, delving into the intricate nuances of consumer behaviour and testing clients creative and messaging on a global scale.
As a retail media expert, she has garnered recognition to the field and served as a judge at the POPAI Marketing at Retail Awards.
Beyond her professional achievements, Kelly is also a qualified Pilates instructor, When she is not immersed in the world of media and consumer psychology, she loves spending quality time with her family and 2 Border Collies.
Alex Pekish
Chief Commercial Officer
Alex began his professional journey at KPMG before transitioning into roles encompassing media investment. As an intuitive and passionate leader he has consistently delivered significant revenue uplifts for both customers and stakeholders. HIs expertise extends to change management, with a proven track record of success. In recognition of his achievements, Alex was honoured with induction into the Melbourne Media Hall of Fame in 2022. Throughout his career, he has worked with some of Australia’s largest clients, contributing to their success through innovative approaches and strategic insights. Known as the logical thinker within his teams, Alex prides himself on being a problem solver with a solutions-focused mindset. His approach prioritises delivering positive and valuable outcomes for customers, company staff, and key stakeholders.
A devoted family man and Collingwood supporter, Alex loves nothing more than a weekend at the Footy.
Daniel Shutt
Head of Digital Media
Daniel has nurtured and embraced a love of all things media strategy and digital innovation throughout his years of experience in multinational agencies and across a large breadth of client industries.
His passion for customer research and behavioural insights sits at the core of his approach to forming best in market solutions for our clients across all channels.
Paul Grainger
Head of Operations & Systems
Paul is a biddable media stalwart of over 10 years, and these days can usually be found at a computer poring over search accounts (or playing video games). He brings an imaginative approach to the normally dry discipline of SEM, identifying innovative client solutions that provide the edge over competitors and consistently improve performance.
Having had the pleasure of working for a wide array of different clients, Paul has experience with big and small over all major verticals, and is always excited to build out a fresh search structure.
Gloria Campbell-McLean
Client Director
Gloria has over 20 years’ experience in the media industry working across many varied client industries.
Her strong attention to detail and problem solving skills lead her to excel in client and account management and help her while tinkering on her classic VW Beetle.
Katie O’Mara-Mckinley
Client Lead
As a senior member of the team as The Head of Traditional Media and Client services, Katie is a natural leader and effective communicator, who is passionate about media and a proven professional negotiator.
She is a trusted advisor to her clients and is committed to delivering results that drive success while continually working to build solid relationships between our clients and agency partners.
Denize D’Silva
Senior Client Manager
Denize is a skilled and thoughtful media planner and buyer with experience working across multiple client sectors including Retail, FMCG, Education & Aged Care.
Specialising in digital media strategy, she is passionate about consumer-first planning and creating multi-touchpoint campaigns that exceed expectations.
Charles Levine
Senior Client Manager
Charles is a detail-oriented media professional with experience in both multi-national and independent agencies. He is passionate about offline media, with a drive to make it work hard for the client.
Outside of the industry, Charles gives his time assisting the development of women’s football and loves watching his team grow and succeed in sport and at work.
Chris Giannakidis
Communications Executive
Chris, new to the media industry, has worked on the creative side of advertising before joining Media Republic. He loves to go camping as often as he can and has a passion for the outdoors.
Ffion Jones
Communications Executive
A more recent addition to Media Republic team, Ffion is an enthusiastic and results driven employee who brings her excellent customer service skills and marketing expertise to the business.
Following two years of experience working in FMCG marketing, Ffion relocated to Australia from Ireland. Recently, Ffion has made the shift from the FMCG industry to the agency side of media, where she has built up her media planning and buying knowledge and continues to learn, grow and contribute to the wonderful team at Media Republic
Raksha Bandu
Communications Executive
Raksha is passionate about media, after completing her master’s in communications she started a role in the audio and video space. Raksh thrives on learning and since joining Media Republic is enjoying exploring all facets of media. Outside of work, you’ll often find her engrossed in a captivating book or indulging in binge-worthy series and occasionally ventures out to shoot videos.
